1, 2, 3, 4, Deadmau5

The techno-artistry enveloping Orlando in the later months of this year is nothing short of disappointing, and Deadmau5's show at the House of Blues last night raised the bar a little bit higher. I now question the maximum capacity of the venue, silently praise my borderline- paranoid self-responsibility, and pray the ringing in my ears is only temporary. Deadmau5's homage to pacman (amongst other old- school video game icons) complemented the masterful light show, which framed the massive anime- esque mouse head atop Joel Zimmerman's shoulders. I had some trouble handing over the $37.25 necessary to participate, but it was worth it.
